In the final quarter of 2023, Europe's Android users showed their commitment to health and nutrition through their engagement with popular food and diet tracking applications. The top apps in this category have experienced diverse trends in downloads and weekly active users, according to data provided by Sensor Tower.

Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner maintained a steady stream of downloads, peaking at 103K in mid-December, while its weekly active users saw a dip from 711K to 652K by the quarter's end. Revenue for Yuka displayed a slight decline, closing the quarter at approximately $5.6K.

The Calorie Counter by FatSecret experienced fluctuations in downloads, with a notable decrease from 54K in early October to 24K towards the end of December. However, the app's active users remained relatively high, starting the quarter at 738K and ending with 561K. Revenue trends also saw a gradual decrease, ending at around $4K.

Splend Apps' BMI Calculator, while showing a significant spike in downloads to 100K at the end of October, experienced a sharp decline in December to 56K. The weekly active users depicted a late-quarter surge, rising from 69K to 119K. Since the app's revenue was negligible, the focus remained on its download and user engagement patterns.

YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter showcased robust revenue figures, starting the quarter at $144K and spiking to $178K by the end of December. Downloads for YAZIO peaked at 42K in late October, but saw a decrease to 85K by the quarter's end. The weekly active users started strong at 1.6M, but showed a slight decrease to 1.3M.

Lastly, Fasting - Intermittent Fasting by Leap Fitness Group had a mixed quarter. The app's downloads saw a high of 61K in late October, but ended at 50K. Weekly active users showed a gradual increase from 524K to 501K, while the revenue trend ended positively at approximately $9.3K.
